Temper
How the fee cools, and everything else that is a property of a contract rather than a policy of a website. Where a figure can be read off the chain, this page reads it rather than printing a copy that could go stale.
The curve
not deployed yet
A pool's rate is a function of one thing: how long ago it was opened. The clock is set by the hook in the same transaction the blade is minted, and never touched again. The rate at any second is
set + (hot − set) × remaining ÷ cooling
which is a straight line from the hot rate to the set rate, continuous in seconds. Integer division rounds towards the floor, which is the trader's side. Before the quench the rate reads as hot; after the cooling it reads as set, forever.
The three numbers — hot, set, cooling — are constants in the hook with no setter. They are not printed here on purpose: the contract is where they bind, and the address below is where to read them.
The temper chart
A smith reads the temperature of steel off its colour. This site paints every blade the colour of the rate it is charging, on the same scale, so the rack can be read at a glance.
What a quench does
- One. The blade is struck: its constructor mints the whole fixed supply, split in that same constructor between the trough and the supply wallet. Neither share passes through the launchpad.
- Two. A Uniswap v4 pool of native ETH against the blade is opened, with the steam in its key and no LP fee of its own. This is the moment the clock starts.
- Three. The trough's share is sunk into one position spanning the launch range — a position the trough has no function to lift.
Terms
not deployed yet
Nothing is deployed, so there is nothing to read. These figures are constants in the launchpad and the hook, and this page will show what those contracts say rather than what was typed here.
What it does not promise
- The first hour is expensive. Twenty-seven per cent of what you pay in, in either direction, goes to the supply wallet. The site shows the rate to the second and every order names the hottest rate it will pay; the rest is your decision.
- The clock only runs one way. Nothing can make a pool hot again. A blade that has set charges the floor for the rest of its life.
- The ETH is not yours. A buy leaves ETH inside a position nothing can decrease — including whoever quenched the blade. It stays under the price as a bid belonging to nobody.
- The supply wallet's share is liquid. Not vested, not cliffed, not locked. No contract here restrains it and none of them pretends to.
- Not audited. The contracts are commented to be read, which is not the same thing as having been reviewed.
